DONATE CLOTHING
Clothing Donation Drop Boxes are distributed throughout Jackson County as a convenient place for you to donate clean and usable clothing.
- Bald Knob Road and Illinois 127 in Alto Pass.
- Leady Feed Store 10747 IL 127 south in Murphysboro.
- START Parking Lot at 20 N. 13th St. in Murphysboro.
- A parking lot on corner of 22nd and Walnut Streets in Murphysboro.
- Weach Oil vacant lot next to car wash at Ninth and Walnut streets in Murphysboro.
- Lot between 17 and 18th streets across from the old $2 Bill's store in Murphysboro.
- Great Shapes parking lot on US 51 south in Carbondale.
- Nieman Flooring lot IL 13 and Nieman Road east of Murphysboro.
DONATE GOODS OR SERVICES
START is looking for the following in-kind donations:
- Entertainment Items for Clients - Bingo Set, Ping Pong Table and Equipment, Band Instruments, and Small Gifts for Holidays (photo albums, bath products. games, etc.).
- Computer Items for Clients - Computers for Home Use, Printers and Supplies, Computer Desks, Software ( key boarding, educational, games), and Digital Camera.
- Job Training Items for Clients - Battery Operated Drill, Pallet Jack, Two Wheel Cart, Box Moving Cart, and Vacuum Cleaner.
- Educational Items for Clients - Dry Erase Boards, Paper Shredders, and Pencil Sharpeners.
- Household Items for Clients - Dish Towels, Pots and Pans, Baking Wares, Area Rugs, Reclining Chairs, Bird Bath, and Flower Boxes.
- Accessible Items for Clients - Tri Leg Outdoor Swing Set, Wheel Chair Swing Platform, and Swing Chair.
